These clamps are used when two marquees are set up side by side and you want to fix them together. They hold the marquees about 10cm apart allowing you to fit the gutter and sit leg weights at the bottom on the feet.
They are designed at the same spread as the leg weights, so half way up the leg you can use the clamp, with the foot of the leg being held together by the leg weight.
Using them is very simple, you just unscrew the knob, turn the plate sideways, slip the two legs in, turn the plate back and then tighten.
Do I need these connecting clamps if I'm setting up two marquees side-by-side?
You do not need connecting clamps, however if you have multiple marquees and have to adhere to strict set up requirements for an event, or if you just want a little extra security, then the clamps can come in handy.
Will using the connecting clamps prevent my marquees from blowing away?
No! Marquee connecting clamps should never be used as the only method to secure multiple marquees. The main reason is that a strong wind gust can still pick up one marquee, put stress on the clamp, and end up damaging both frames. It is important to use enough leg weights for the weather conditions of the day, the clamps alone are not reliable.
I don't have a Canopy Outdoor marquee, but it looks similar to mine. Can I purchase this product for my marquee?
The connecting clamps are designed to suit Canopy Outdoor frames. If your outer legs are 30x30mm or 35x35mm exactly, then theoretically our Weekender and Metro clamps would suit these respective sizes. Please make 100% sure before purchasing, or contact us to confirm if you have any doubt.
Do you make custom size clamps?
No we unfortunately do not make custom size clamps.
